The Serving Trays

Have finished and posted on Etsy.com, three serving trays. Each is attractive in its own way. And all three are unique, providing you with something special for your home.

Pollack Tray
Using techniques inspired by a real love of Jackson Pollack, I’ve created a simple tray with an aluminum edging. Finished with a poured 2 part epoxy, think and dense, it will last forever.

Of course it’s not dishwasher safe. But the rubber feet will not scratch any surface.

You will love it!

50’s retro serving tray
This tray was a nice old boring wood stained tray that we all pass up. Because it’s frickin’ boring! But because I liked the lines, they felt very retro to me. Picking some of my favorite colors for projects like this, I set to work. After sanding, painting, sanding, painting… you get the idea. It took time. Finally, I finished with tinted polyurethane, to the tune of about 10 coats. Of course adding clear along the way.

Here are a few more pics of the try.

Turned out to be a really wonderful finish and tray. And I almost kept it for myself. You will love it.
Available $70.00.

Traditional Cafe Tray
A very traditional wood tray, stained in Walnut with a decoupage inlayed print. Finished first with a crackle finish and then water based poly. This provides a very durable finish for whatever you might what to use it for.

Have a look.
