So this is compete, available now. An awesome knife block, originally made using pine. Now its been scorched by fire, giving a serious depth of character and fun. 
The aluminium cross pieces are a nice added bit to hold everthing in when the knives are sharp. Designed to hold a steel and a number of chefs knifes, plus whatever else you want to throuw into it.
And…I got to burn things remaking it.
